Ambush AMBUSH provides a new Dance experience. DJ's and musicians representing different styles in Dance Music present a combination of live music and DJ sets, utilizing MASE's dynamic sound imaging processes. MASE allows artists to determine spatial placement and movement of sound sources in real time. The music varies from triphop and avant-garde to industrial, electro and techno. A variety of DJs will present an eclectic, surprising and above all danceable music mix, which explores the possibilities of this new sound placement system. Every Ambush Night has a different line up. > agenda Presentation at Amsterdam Dance Event 2005 Several facets of the MASE 'machine' will be presented at this platform for the international dance-industry. During workshops, (inter-)national DJ's can explore the artistic and technical possibilities of the prototype. These sessions will result in several dance evenings in the Desmet-studio. A dedicated seminar will discuss the artistic and technological principles, the development process and the initial experiences. Various artistic possibilities for multi-angle sound systemsand changing audience interests will also be looked into. > agenda > MASE ®
